I'm really happy that I got an A* in RS when I got a B in both of my mocks, though an A in Computing was bit of a disappointment considering it was one of my strongest subject. I was also 1 UMS away from an A in French, but it isn't related to what I'm studying at A level so I won't get it remarked. Overall I got the results as I expected, and I just feel relieved that I achieved the grades I needed for college

Future ambitions
I'm going to study Music, Computer Science and Maths Mechanics at A level, and would like to continue studying Computer Science at Uni.
The feeling when you are 1 ums of an A* in english lit...

Well: I'm super happy but a little dishevelled at Sociology and Maths because i wanted an A* in both - but overall really happy! Shocked at technology too

I'd like to be a primary school teacher, studying English at university.

Was very skeptical as I did not revise; however, results turned out quite well considering no revision was done. In chemistry I should have achieved an A*, but I can't be bothered to get it remarked as I don't need Chemistry. The C in Language was expected so I'm not too disappointed as it's a pass. Overall the 3A*'s, 4A's, 3B's and one C are good for me so I'm happy (especially happy with maths).

Future ambitions
Going to study Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science at A-level and then I would want to study a PhD in Computer Science - perhaps in Artificial Intelligence.

GCSE Results Day 2016: Post Your GCSE Results!

Hello everyone! It's time for you all doing GCSEs to get your results, I hope that you get the grades you want and deserve. We've set aside this thread so that you can post your predicted grades and your exam results. In the past few years on TSR these threads for A-level seem really popular, however I don't think GCSE students have had a thread to show the grades they've worked hard for, so now it's your turn!

Feel free to congratulate each other but we do have the official results day thread for you to use to discuss your results, how you're feeling in the run up to results day and on the day. When released, you can find out the grade boundaries for this years exam on the grade boundaries thread. If you want advice about your results then head over to the Didn't do as well as you hoped? thread. If you're thinking about a retake/remark, we have a thread on retake and remark information for you. If you have any further questions, please make a thread in the GCSE forum or post in one of the mentioned threads.

On behalf of the Community team and TSR support team, we wish you the best of luck in whatever results you attain! :h:

Really pleased and relieved with these results - I was predicted 9A*s and 3As and actually got 7A*s and 5As. My aim was o not get any Bs which I'm happy to say I didn't. I can stay on at my current school for sixth form too which is nice.

To study Maths, Chemistry, Biology and Physics at A Level
I redid my maths and science GCSEs and I got 138/200 in my maths which got me a B, my friend got 145/200 and got an A. My other friend got 113/200 and also got a B. Anyone know what the grade boundaries are for this year? I must've been close to an A. But it costs £45 to get it remarked so I want to be sure that I got within a mark or two.I also got an A* in biology and As in Chem and physics but got a C (within 7marks of a B) in the coursework, which brought my grade down to a B. I think my mark was 258. My friend got 7 marks more on the coursework and got a B and she got As in the exams, but got an A overall. I'm gutted I am only a view marks of an A in both.

I'm so incredibly happy it's unreal. I'm a straight A student! In my mocks in January, I got 1A*, 4A's and 3B's, and to come out with 3A*'s and 7A's is so fantastic. My revision definitely paid off. Getting an A in maths has topped it all off; I've never gotten an A on a single past paper and needed an A to get on the maths course at my college.

I'd been having nightmares about results day for the past 3 nights. I kept dreaming about failing my exams and getting D's. My expectations were so low, haha...

Congratulations to everyone today! You've all done so well and everything has paid off! I hope your next steps in life go exactly the way you want them to and I wish everyone the best of luck. :^)
