conditional with A level grades

So i have all my offers in and i'm a gap year applicant... the one i intend to firm is conditional offer on verification of reference. Im assuming the offer will go unconditional when i have done this... does it matter if i firm my offer now or should i wait until my offer changes to unconditional? or does it not matter at all?

You have to firm the offer before early May. It doesn't matter exactly when you do it. However, some unis won't update offers to unconditional for a long time, so if you wait for that it may not happen quick enough.
