Need help with option choices!

I have just finished my first year in 6th form, and got my results a couple of weeks back,
i got into the next year, and got EEE.
I look music, psychology and sociology.
I have just enrolled for my next year to continue with A levels and have chosen to do Psychology and sociology (as before) and i have dropped music, but picked up food tech and media at AS level to pick up some points, im planning to drop one of the AS's because it'll be too much work, but i am not sure which one to do.
The reason why i dropped music is because its kinda of a lost cause,
i did really badly in the exam, and my coursework is the only reason i passed.

I am planning to go to uni and do a psychology course and then do a 1 year teaching course to become a teacher.

Obviously as i havent done very well this year i want to concentrate on getting good grades in two of my subjects (psychology and sociology). And then hopefully get a good grade in the AS that i will continue to do!

The reason why im writing all this crap is because i need some advice,
Will unis allow me in with only 2 full a levels and an AS?
Who has done media and food tech at AS?
Is it a lot of coursework (i hope so-i dont do very well in exams)?
What other routes can i go down if i end up failing my Alevels to become a teacher?

Thank you so much!

Do you see the problem?
Why do you want to do a psychology degree if you are planning on being a teacher? It is more difficult to get onto a PGCE course with psychology as unis prefer national curriculum subjects for teacher training. People do, but they mainly argue that psychology is a science subject and take science as their specialism for teaching. I'm afraid that with your A Level performance and choices this is not realistic.

Nor will you get a place to do a psychology degree with only 2 A levels. Food tech would not cut it as your third subject. Psychology is one of the most competitive courses. As you seem to cope better with coursework from what you said about music have you thought about doing a BTEC ND which is accepted by unis as the equivalent to A levels?

I'm sorry to be so negative, but you have to make the right choices.
