Lol Murphysmoment are you STILL on about this? To have wasted all that time, writing that...well you must be exceedingly bored. Ahwell, some of us have better things.
I think you have to appreciate, you have your opinions, and I have mine. We both contributed, and there is no need for personal attacks/insults. There are a hundred more flaws in your last post, which make me laugh, but I do have better things to do than spend ages typing them out. It's funny though, the amount you;ve written makes out as if you're trying to convince yourself more than anyone else. Ohwell, you carry on with that..

To everyone who goes to Bham: To clear this up I am not attacking Bham, I am stating my opinion, which is the whole point of this forum. You can disagree or agree, this is not a personal attack!

To Lucy: Go with your heart

I had a brief look at the post, the word tedious sprung to mind:smile: A lengthy exercise in self justification by MurphysMoment!

The question is whether to reapply, though..

Hey Luce

I think that you should reapply (I'm not just saying it for the sake of it because normally I wouldn't really advise anyone to reapply) because from the stats you just gave (and gut feeling) it's blatantly obvious that you are way up to the standard. It was just unlucky to have picked a college which just happened to be extremely oversubscribed this year.

I guess the main problem is trying to find something you want to do in a gap year and you have to make sure that taking a gap year will still be worthwhile even if you don't receive an offer second time round. I guess you should just wait for feedback and then have a really serious think about it (maybe you can do what Tasha might be doing and wait until summer before you decide). Imho they were right twats for not taking you first time round
Lucy, I am a nice person too u know :frown:

come to birmingham with me!!

What will you be doing at Birm Serendipity? I am hoping to put Birm as my first choice, ive got a written entrance test for Nottingham in Feb, as they took so long to reply i pretty much dismissed it as an option!

Does anyone know if on the birm accomodation app form you can specify which flats/ halls you want to be in, or do you just have to put that you want to be either Flats or Halls / ensuite or not ?

Let me get this straight, you decided all on your own to choose b'ham over NOTTINGHAM just because they took 'too long' to reply.
What a crack. You are definately lying, tell the truth, you were rejected by nottingham.
Silly stuff.

What a crack. You are definitely lying, tell the truth, you were rejected by nottingham.
Silly stuff.
Perhaps you shouldn't judge everyone by your own narrow minded standards.

My mate turned down Bristol and York to go to UEA. And, yes, I can confirm 100% that he received offers from all of them.

Thanks! I'm glad you aren't as quick to condemn me to be a liar just cus i don't judge a Uni on its league table or how many "oxbridge rejects" it supposedly attracts. I liked Birmingham because it is near to where i live and the course is more specialised to what i want to do than Nottingham is.
