And me! In pictures I feel it focuses on my flaws whereas in real life I look pretty nice. I think it's cos pics are still, so you have more time to look for flaws whereas in real life you're animated so it's less noticible.

lol yeah...i guess thats another way of seeing it

well do you look the same as when you were little?

No. But the photograph of me when I was little look like I did when I was little. Hence they're a record and not a reflection of who I am.

I can't help but pull the most ridiculous faces when a picture is being taken...

When I know a camera is pointing at me I'm so self-conscious and even when I don't know it is I still end up looking a mess :frown:
I look completely different in photos. That's probably because the photos I'm normally in are for my job (I'm a model). I always try to remind people not to expect the same thing IRL because the girl in that photo has undergone hours of make up and hair and has help from specialist lighting, the talent of a really good photographer and, of course, however much photoshopping was administered to the photo. I won't lie, I won't deny it and I'm pretty upfront about how fake it can all be. There's also other differences such as my expression - in work photos, I'm normally not smiling, which is the complete opposite of me when not working. Outside of my job, you won't find many photos of me because I'm normally the one behind the camera - I figure my job provides me with enough photos of myself and so I can take a break in my everyday life.

--EDIT:

Wait. I do have one or two everyday photos of myself. I seem to wear underwear on my head a lot or pull the most idiotic of expressions. I'm letting lose! Rebelling! Waheyyy.

It totally depends on who takes the picture, like if they are good with a camera or not. Otherwise every stupid, eyes closed, mouth open/tongue out face i make, someone will photograph!

I read somewhere that some people look worse in photos than they do in real life because a lot of a person's attractiveness can be in the animation of their face. Interesting!

How does the job pay if you don't mind me asking?

lol nah i bet your pretty good looking in real life

My mirror disagrees :colonhash:

But its just one of those weird things, photos just make me look better most of the time.

Not when I'm drunk though -when I'm drunk I tend to pull freaky/downright-obscene faces :lolwut:

I've been doing this for a few years now and am signed with Storm, which is a pretty respected agency, so I currently get around 300 on average. However, keep in mind that we only work a few days in a month depending on clients or how much you want to work.

I'm possibly ones of the least photogenic people ever, so I would really like to think I look better in real life than I do in photos! XD I always seem to be blinking, or making a stupid face, or just generally looking awkward- not one of those people who, as soon as a camera appears, they adopt a brilliant smile and pose and look fabulous- I'll probably notice the photo is being taken as they take it, no time to react!

My nose always looks huge.

Tbh your hair doesn't look too great in that picture either...
I sincerely hope so. I look like this in photos...

But in my head I look much nicer.

Oo thanks!
No arrogance here, but I look WAAY more horrible in pics than in real life. In pics I look sallow and kind of washed out and tired. In real life I go to sleep early, eat healthy, exercise like 3x a week and drink like 2 litres of water a day and have pretty good skin.

...Damned cameras

I HOPE SO! I like to think I'm really unphotogenic. Otherwise I may as well let go of myself completely.

I do know girls who are very large and unattractive in person who can take a great photo of themself.

LOL.
I think in real life and in pictures I'm a stunner. :P

Arrogant? Yh probably

Gosh i hope i do... Like when looking in a mirror or whatever it's fine and it doesn't look so bad but when i see myself in pictures all i can see is my nose :frown:
I'd say the opposite to most on here - I think I generally look nicer in photographs than I do in real life...
I think I look about the same, although certain angles arent too good.
