Mature students on fresher's week

I had a nasty tooth abscess and missed the two society organised pub crawls I had booked for. I had no interest in anything else like clubbing or balls or paintballing or whatever.

Go out and show willing. You will know if it is time to come home.

Spare a thought for those at 37 and even 47!

Don't forget you are probably not the only one of your age there. It will be OK
baaaha this made me laugh, thank you :')

Hey if you WANT to go out and get plastered with the kids go do it!

I'm 25 and couldn't think of anything worse, but then again I've never thought that going out and getting hammered is a good way to 'get to know anyone' - I mean you can't talk to them and you have to go to crap places everyone likes, sure everyone's BFFs when they're drunk but does it last? And if that's the basis of your friendship and the circle of friends you immediately get yourself in, it might distract you from your studies and make you feel like a recluse when you don't go out with them.

For me, I'm going to get to know my coursemates, and hopefully form friendships enough with them to go out when we all know each other a little better.
(that's the optimistic plan anyway....)
Heading to uni this year aged 21. I fully intend to take part in fresher's week, at least until my back starts playing up again.... ;^)
