I think you need a certain level of sexual maturity to be open about it.

I can't see how anyone could be close-minded about sex, or think it's "bad" in any context (masturbation, before marriage etc etc) as it's a complete natural process.

We don't keep quiet about what we eat, or only pee once we're married. So whats the problem?
