Does anyone know if the system applies to dentistry aswell?
On the Queen Mary propectus it says for medicine "the UKCAT will be used in conjunction with your academic performance to date", where as for dentistry it says the UKCAT will be used to rank students for interview shortlisting.
On the website, it says that its UKCAT shorlisting for both medicine and dentistry
On the barts prospectus it says for both, "UKCAT will be used in conjunction with academic peroformance"
Im kind of confused as to which system applies to which, but i see its already been determined the UCAS tariff will apply to medicine. Is this the same for dentistry?

Dentistry admissions are completely separate and it's not something any of us will have researched so I suggest you ask their admissions directly :h:

If you cash it in then yes it's worth about 30 UCAS points or something.

Edit: Sorry yeah I was talking about AS-level

Because of the number and type of unis you're applying to; ie. I heard at Irish unis (for medicine) you need 3A*s or something in certain subjects, so was curious.
If you got offers from all, which would you take?

But would the points count? Cause they dont consider General Studies...

Yes I emailed them about this, everything counts, including general studies, critical thinking, extended project etc.

Oh haha okay. It's not true you need 3A*'s to apply to Irish medical schools but you do need to have done 4 A-levels all to grade A standard.

My order of priority is the UK medical schools (in the order listed in my sig), then the Irish medical schools (in the order listed in my sig), then the American universities (in the order listed in my sig) and then my 5th in the UK (Natural Sciences at UCL).

Edit: To be honest I just want to get in somewhere  and not be in a position like last year.

1) It's UCAS points.. worth any UCAS makes no sense...

2) Don't say lol... just don't..

3) Yes.. you HAVE to declare that so it will be worth some UCAS tariff points :h:

I will be predicted 3As at A level with a b in my as level and i also got a c in general studies which adds up to 450 UCAS tariff points. I also got 652.5 in my ukcat, im thinking of applying to aberdeen, leicester and keele. is it worthwhile me also applying to barts and i really want to go there?!?! thanks in advance
