Nothing.

What am I doing for my 21st? Nothing. Well, a meal with my parents probably.

I got about 15 people round for a nice summer bbq and got high and drunk as hell. After about 11pm I was totalled out and threw up so heavily the capillaries in my head burst so i had loads of red lines and dots on my face the next day.

....awesome birthday though, nothing too fancy or major, just a good chill

Nothing major. My face just burst.

my birthday falls over leeds fest, so i sat in a field getting drunk with my friends listening to decent music. good times.
I did nothing.
Went out for a meal with my family on my actual birthday, went out for a meal with my friends the next night. Went back to a friend's house for a few drinks after (cant exactly remember why we did that part haha). Only 1 of my friends, and my ex boyfriend were 18 at that point so we didn't go clubbing, but it didn't matter, I enjoyed it anyway.

Went out for a meal on my birthday. Also I had a game of poker with some of my mates a few days before my birthday in my house (none of my mates were 18 at the time) and also went to the Casino for the first time with my brother and his girlfriend (again, none of my mates were 18) the Friday after my birthday.

revised for A2 exams (my birthday was the day before biology :frown:)
If you want a suggestion though my friend had a foam party, that was pretty cool
another friend organized a trip to alton towers but most people I know just wanted to go clubbing for the first time

Mine too! And then a chemistry one the week after :frown:
Went for a meal in the hotel across the street with mum/sister and grandparents.

Not as bad as my sixteenth (went to Morrisons Caff!) or my seventeenth when I went to B&Q to get lightbulbs, my nineteenth when we went into the town centre or my twentieth when we did a big fat nothing >:frown:

They rented a hall and hired a foam machine and DJ.
Yeah, I think there were around that many people at her's and it was pretty awesome. Everyone was having foam fights and dancing in the foam, even the people who are normally too shy.

just did a google search to try and find the name of the foam hire she used and I found a place that does pink foam or uv foam

That sounds so cool!! Wow! I'd love to do something like that! Can you wear normal clothes or do you get soaked?

you get soaked, I just wore an old t-shirt and shorts I didn't mind getting ruined (not that they did, but it'd be more likely with the pink) over a swimming suit, and don't wear slippy shoes

Awh! On my 16th we went for a family meal and the food was disgusting, which led to my mum going on an unexplained psychotic rant about how she wished she had never had children. Then we went to.. B&Q! To pick paint. I'm never going to forget it :colonhash:

Had my A level exams :sadnod:

The best part was going to an Indian Buffet restaurant with a load of family and then drinking in the garden/ in town for the next 14 hours... sunshine + cider = funtimes.
I also went out with friends but some of them hadn't turned 18 so the best we could manage was dressing up as cowgirls - don't ask - and going out for... curry :s-smilie: again.

The best birthdays I had were my 16th & 17th where my mum just threw me house parties with bbqs, karaoke, way too much beer + anyone who fancied turning up :yep:

this made me smile : )

also yeah i find 18ths were awkward because if you wanted to go out half were legal, half were not... and the best ones were those that recognised this and had an awesome time at home : )

also i would reccommed house party because then you haven't gone to the trouble of hiring a massive hall that you have to fill.
i had a house party with about 60 people, it was AWESOME

don't hire a venue, i went to a lot of 18ths this year, venue parties are awkward and less people go because you can't byob/ they're effort to get to/the dj's are often ****

also it's really obvious when people don't turn up to a party at a venue
if it's at your house then you can pretend it's a small party/gathering

Revising for an exam the next day......bee-you-tea-full way to spend it
I just went to the pub and then for a meal with the family, not really a clubbing person.

I got a load of gambling tables and a big buffet put on in the pub. Some free chips for everyone, it went down a storm, absolutely loved it.
I had a great idea were I have loads of close friends round for a bbq in the evening then the ones who are old enough/have fake or borrowed id can go clubbing ... then I realised my 18th is end of September so it will be freezing and/or rain! :frown: Now I have no idea.

I don't usually have a party on my actual bday date so the night before, I went to the pub with some mates and at midnight went ****ing crazy

Followed by clubbing and getting yucky with the boys
I just went to the park with my friends the day after and had fish and chips =)
Then I hired a hall and had a party for my family and called some of my friends. Started off in the hall, everyone ended up moving to the park because it ended too early =P
Also went to restaurants with other friends and some of my family =)
My birthday was a birthday month pretty much! xD
