I'm applying for the 4 year Art course, just send my UCAS form off and Reading's my top choice.
AS: AAAC (art, photography, geog, bio) and predicted AAAB for A2. I'm just super scared as its mainly on portfolio 0_0

It's so good to hear from someone applying to a similar course! Well done on your grades, they're brill, I heard bio was really hard last year - lots of my friends dropped it! I would have loved to do a photography A level - they don't offer it at my college!
I am freaking out about the portfolio! I want to go to Reading so badly, it's my second choice, but I'd be ecstatic to have an offer from them!
I'm so nervous about what work to put in my portfolio! I've been working on it during half term, but I'm not very assured about it! I think our good grades should give us some leverage though..
Applying for History.
GCSEs- 6A*a and 6As.
AS- AAAA
Predicted- A*A*A*
Reading would make a brilliant back up.

Any other History applicants? Or Any lucky offers yet?

I'm applying for Biomed. They say in the prospectus you need a B in biology and one other science, I already have a B in biology but a C in chemistry which I'm resitting. Really, really hoping they make me an offer though

Same , but i did just get an email from them saying their going to make me an offer , but it hasn't come through UCAS yet. Whats your other subject ?

English Lit and Lang, hardly relevant to be honest but at least it's at a good grade.
I'm applying to Reading for English Literature. Anyone else for English Lit? Anyone get any offers if applying for English Lit?

yeah, where are all the reading art applicants?
no photography :frown: my school still do it even though we only ever sat on computers and wrote on word... so now I'm doing it externally
I haven't started putting a portfolio together yet >< I hope reading sends some information on what they want to see in it, I can't seem to find anything on the website and the lady I asked at the open day didn't really answer :s

Yes! All the universities barely have anything on what they want in their portfolios! All they say is that they'd like to see our 'current' or 'most recent' work, and 'self-initiated work'. I also tried to email some of them about it, and they just pasted what was on the website straight into the email! I think they want to see that we can independently work this out, also I don't think they want to restrict what goes into the portfolio by telling us what to include.
I can barely find ANYONE applying for Art, haha, a very specialist field I guess.
Where else are you applying?
Rejected for History ^^
