I'm in Y10 currently and this is going to be as big a day as August 2011 was for me, in Y9.I'm awaiting 5 results.Chemistry Unit 1,Physics Unit 1,Geography-Coasts,English Language-Writers Voice and English Lit-Understanding Prose. What results are you getting?and does anyone know the date?
I'm awaiting a mixture of A levels and GCSE results. I'm in year 11.
GCSE: Biology, Chemistry and Physics AQA Unit 2, and EPQ (Extended project GCSE level) (unless school are submitting my EPQ in summer instead) Edexcel A level maths modules C4 and D1. I'm only really nervous about C4. D1 I don't need anything in for an A*, and GCSE sciences should be fine.
Why do you get controlled assessment results back in march?- unless you get your confirmed CA results after moderation, if so i have more results coming back than i thought.

I don't know, it's just what my History teacher said, no idea how it works with other schools/ how other schools do it
I find out my January maths results and English lit. I'm terrified haha. Is this results day like the same as in August when you go to your school and get them? just wondering as I didnt even know there was a results day in March until last month haha

Seeing as it's a school day you'll be in school anyway, but yes it is the same as the August one but not as high profile as less exams are taken in the January session. At my school we go to the main hall at lunchtime and pick up an envelope with our name on.

If the CA was submitted to the exam board in the January season then yes you can. There are a lot of CAs that can only be submitted in the summer so just because you have finished it does not mean that it will have been submitted in January, you may have to wait until August to find out your final mark.

it was submitted for Jan 2012 because that is what miss told us to write on the coursework sheet.
