Any females doing or applied for Computing Science?

I applied for computing science and received offers and this is what I really want to do at uni.

But I'm a little worried that I will be like the only girl in my classes and this puts me off. I've read on a few sites that many girls dont study this course :frown:

Someone please tell me that there are atleast a handful of girls doing this course :biggrin:

yea there will be a handful at least. I studied mechanical engineering, which i was told not many girls study and out of a class of about 22 there were 8 girls. so dont worry you wont be alone :smile:
