Some questions were easy, but some were nearly impossible. I know for a fact I haven't done well at all.

I did really badly...I might as well just have slept during the exam.

I know I've done bad, and I'm not even exaggerating. There was about four questions that I actually understood.

The only question I got was the matrix and the angles one..
I just wrote random stuff for the rest.

Can you remember any of your answers? :smile:

Man i thought was real easy en da.
I got a=12
coordinates= (2.4,7.2)
angle= 51
ratio= 1:2:5

...um

proof= 5(5x^2-6x+2)

and more but has forgetten them ones

Yeah, I got 10 and 17 for the matrix. :smile:
Can't remember the rest.
well i failed it.
all the 5 and 6 mark question were impossible.
I am hoping the grade boundaries are low.
What on earth was the tanx = 1/sinxcosx couldnt do that
couldnt do the one when proving b= 60
couldnt do the kite one
couldnt do the simplify x

so basically i failed

i got both of those answers wooooooooooo wooooooooooo woi
Literally no one in my school had any idea how to do it. We haven't been studying it for long enough. I did the questions I could, then had a nice little doodle on the desk.

Same here. The fact that there was no past papers made it almost impossible. Aqa gave our school a paper which was an idea of what they thought it would look like, and it didn't help at all. I've been doing C1 a-level past papers and they didn't relate at all to the one today. It was like sitting an exam and doing topics that you haven't even seen before.

Well I reckon u is all lieing en da cos everyone was like it was easy and I go to bloody Kings Route West Walsall.
WTF wring wid yous.

The one about the prove was sin/cos + cos/sin = 1/sincos
sin^2x+cos^2x/sincos = 1/sincos
factorise: 2(x-5)(x+4)
1) 9
2) f(x)>=7
3)matrix = (10 17)

Those are the questions that I couldn't do. For the tanx and sinx one, I just wrote down all the identities I could so hopefully I'll get one mark for that. Proving b=60 in that triangle was so hard, I didn't get how it worked out. I've never seen anything like the kite one and just had a wild guess.
My teacher thought that the grade boundary would be 50% for a C, but if everyone found it as hard as they said they did then it should be a lot lower. At least a handful of people have to get the A star distinction grade, and not that many people sat it in the country, so I'm hoping it's low.

I have a feeling Friday is going to be a lot of complex trigonometry. :frown:

I did the exact same with sin^x+cos^x=1 and sinx/cosx=tanx
i was annoyed with myself
because i was so annoyed i wrote on the paper 'I hate maths' and only all the question i couldnt do I put '?' on them to show the board i think their GCSe is a bunch of ****e
i reckon i just got 50% i wanted an A atleast, my expectations have declined, bring on friday
