Really relying on the fact I got the full ums in the AS paper an full marks in both years practicals. So it works out I need 40 ums for an A! Although would be nice to get a little star next to that A!

I need a B... got a A at AS and a B in my practical so hopefully will be able to do enough to get a B. Looked at section C this morning, havent got a hope in hell with that one! Good luck people :smile:

How'd everyone find it?
Hmmmm okay I think the last 14 marker I babbled a bit and didn't put many relevant answers

I found the first and last 14 markers good! Was the second one I didnt like! Think I missed what they were actually asking! Just hope the grade boundaries are nice and low again
Yeah haha that would be nice! And I think on the second one a lot of people drew the diagrams but didn't really explain what the question was asking

i only mentioned the theories in passing, i understood the question to be something else :frown: i wrote about why performers had different levels of arousal in terms of personality and stage of learning etc....
which i realise now was a load of rubbish!

I'm just hoping that the grade boundaries are as low as they have been in the past two years!
With contempary influences I'm tempted to say world games because of the Olympics, but they have already asked a question on this in June 2010. Might be something to do with commercialism or sponsorship? But you never know with AQA! Even if I think Ive said what the textbook says the mark scheme will say something completely different anyway!

What were the grade boundaries last year? :smile:

A = 47
B= 41
C = 35
D = 29
E = 27

So quite low for an A level paper. But then AQAs mark schemes are useless

that sucked. only way to describe it

Nothing that's going to merit more than 4 marks I'm sure!

Well then hopefully grade boundaries will come down!

Were we supposed to write about the drive theory etc ?
Reply 37
All I know is that i listed cognitive stress stuff rather than somatic.. And the first bit i waffled on about gross skill and fine skills and stuff like that... 0/14 :frown:

Talked about inverted U, Drive and catastrophe even though i know drive hasn't got anything to do with optimal arousal but it was still worth mentioning there was an alternative view. What was the other part about?
