Chances of getting into big 4 for audit/tax

I can't be bothered to read all of the junk above so I don't know where you got to, but I will simply say that I work for a Big4 firm and there's at least one grad joiner in the last couple of years who went to an ex-poly. It's rare, but largely just because people who went to ex-polys generally don't have the A-level grades. It certainly won't prevent you joining.
