UMS marks confusion

For C1, if the maximum mark is 75 and you need 60 raw marks to get an A, how do you work out how many raw marks you need to get full UMS?
You work out the difference between the raw marks needed to get an A and a B, and add it onto 60 to get the marks you need to get 90UMS, and then again to get the amount needed for 100UMS. It's not necessarily 60 needed to get an A though, it varies from paper to paper

The raw to UMS conversion varies with every exam season so there is no guarantee that 60/75 raw would get you 80UMS but you normally need 74 or 75/75 for full UMS for C1. If you are doing past papers you can check the grades boundaries for a particular exam on the exam board website though I don't think they state the raw score needed for max UMS.
