Do students get a 'study break' before May exams?

..not including the Easter break..?

Depends on the uni.
Not me, I have essays to do right up until exams  Does depend on the uni and course though.

not me, by chance this year we have a gap of almost 4 weeks between the last assignment due in and the exam. But this is by chance if anything and we still have lectures up until May 17th (which is inside the exam period), exam being May 20th. Since all assessed work will have been handed in though, me thinks the modules without exams will have a very small attendance rate.
Depends on the course and uni.

On my course, we don't officially, but courses do start to wind down a week or two before the exam period.

We do a bit. There's three weeks of summer term before exams officially start- the first two weeks we have revision lectures, but the 3rd's completely off timetable (apart from my french speaking exam.. :s-smilie: )
