I am gonna get predicted A*A*A so idk. i hope my PS stands out i really wanna get in LSE or KCL :frown:
Hi! How competitive is IR at LSE? I'm from Canada. Would a 86-90 average get me through? I don't understand any of this "AAB" grading system you guys do there lol.

IR at LSE is VERY competitive, however I'd say you have a chance of getting in given that you have a strong PS. So how did it turn out in the end? did you apply?

I can echo what was said above. Get the highest possible predictions you can get, without some form of A* you most likely won't get an offer. That being said the personal statement is the determining factor! everyone at LSE is smart and has the grades, the PS makes you stand out!

Regarding how competitive it is...IR is extremely competitive. When I started in 2012 it was 1 offer for every 27 rejections...you do the maths

I had moderately bad GCSE grades coupled with AAC at AS.
Starting IR at LSE this year with A*A*AA.
Don't listen to anyone and go for it. The admissions process is about more than your grades.

If you dont mind me asking, what were your gcse grades?
and what a levels did you take?
Thank you:smile:
