Paramedic Dip HE? or BSc

hi I am looking to get into paramedics in 2014, I have been told that Birmingham City University have scrapped the Paramedic Dip HE and now have the 3 year BSc. does anyone know why this is? although on the BCU website the Dip HE is still available p.s is there anyone who knows where else I can study the Dip He? as i would prefer to get into work asap and has anyone done/currently doing the Bsc or Dip He and would be kind enough to let me know what it intakes and are you currently enjoying it. thanks

I'm unaware whether Birmingham are changing to the BSc however, from 2019 I believe this may be a requirement to register which could be why they're changing. Many universities offer the DipHE or FdSc. Have a look on UCAS which will list which uni's do the course and what qualification they give you. However, I believe your closest to Birmingham may be Coventry which does the FdSc.
