I want to go to university when I finish my A levels and study a degree in English, I changed my A level subjects today to English language, history and English literature, I was previously studying A level media studies but replaced it with literature. Do you think these subjects are good enough to get into a noted university?

Yes. They're a good set of essay subjects to apply to do an English degree with.

Whenever I've been to conferences or courses about studying English at degree level, universities have always stressed how important English literature is to them, so I think you made the right decision. Also, all three of your subjects are now on the 'Russell Group Scale' so they put you in good stead for UCAS anyway!
