Waitressing Experiences?

So I've been working as a waitress for a couple of weeks. Today was my fifth shift and it went really badly... I managed to spill boiling hot coffee all down myself during the busiest period, messed up a customer's drinks order and forgot to serve a couple who were sitting outside. Anyone else had experiences like this when they started and could reassure me it gets better.. or am I just not destined to be a waitress? :s-smilie:
