I am looking at my unis for next year. I got BCD in A-levels but im currently doing an art foundation course
For the universities asking for grades, if I have the equivalent in tariff points is it still worth applying for?

Difficult to say. The 'top' unis like Nottingham will reject you without interview/portfolio for not having the grades even with the points, as was my experience with BBB and a foundation. I imagine this is the thinking of the red brick unis mostly. You'll have a very good chance with the ex-polys assuming your current art work you can show them is good. Remember; evidence of development, experimentation and critical thought for every piece.
