Hi,
I have my interview for mental health nursing next week, and am in a flap about the maths test! It's been a while since I have had to do any and despite refreshing my memory, it's just not going in! Is it torturous?!

Don't worry, its just basic maths without a calculator, brush up on adding and subtracting decimals, long multiplication and division and conversions e.g. ml to l and g to kg. You only get 15 mins and its 10 questions, you'll be fine i'm sure! Good luck!

Just look at Francis report, 6 C's and the maths is very simple, long multiplication division, addition subtraction, percentages, changing fractions into simplest form and conversions are the main quetstions, its only 10 questions and you only need to get 7 right to pass xx

The question is about how you show the six C's of nursing in your everyday life, don't worry about the maths itisn't hard. An example would be what is 20% of 400 or what's 3/4 of a litre is millilitres. I always say dress to impress as you want to stand out and most people will be dressed as a professional as nursing is a professional field. Good luck

Hey everyone!

Is anyone else firmed their choice (I got my welcome letter and ba brilliant hoodie) I just wondered if anyone from the January interviews, or other ones, remember what the ladies said about induction days. Like the CRB check and health check?

Can't wait till it all starts!
