'Introductory Paragraph' on CV? (help)

Hi
Recently I dropped out of university after one term, due to health issues but also as I really disliked my course. so i'm now back to 'square one' and trying to revamp my CV.

I've got all of it down, except the introductory paragraph.
I see alot of them are very cliche and corny sounding, such as : "A very hardworking and determined individual that thrives under pressure and works great in a team blah blah blah".

Should I include one at all, and if so what kind of things do you put in it?
I just think that it would look very bare if it was just my education etc!
Whether you need on depends on the industry(s) you're applying to, but a generic one full of cliches is unlikely to help much.

Don't include one at all until you are sufficiently established in a career than you want to summarise yourself in what is already a summary document. Until you are a senior manager, they are pretty much universally a waste of space.
