What will you be spending your money on?

To try and get the banner ads as targeted as possible we need to know what you will be spending your money on so we can go and attract the most appropriate advertisers (and at least make them useful)....Please fill in the poll and leave any other comments below.....and before everyone starts....I know you don't want them at all, but they are a necessary evil for now....

Where is the poll?

I spend my money on booze and cigarettes. It's legal to adertise for the former, and one would assume it pays rather well, especially when targetted at impressionable, rowdy teenagers.

Try putting alcopop adverts in the GCSE forums, perhaps.

I intend on buying, over the summer:

Laptop
MP3 player
Digital camera
Mobile phone

But all ads for those kinds of products are very generic and I often ignore them and just do the research myself. If it's standard banners, I'll just keep on blocking them, but something innovative advertising wise would be cool.

I'm just spending it on days out like film festivals, gigs, shows, exhibits, picnics, restaraunts. Maybe ads for free/cheap/studenty days out?

although i put gambling as one of my votes, i wouldnt click on any gambling adds that appear here. its just after work finishes we go drinking at the casino and very occasionaly put a drunken bet on the roulette for a laugh

Not quite sure I follow that logic - the people who advertise on the back of toilet doors don't expect you to phone up while you're sat there.

Advertising is about raising profiles/awareness not just getting people to sign on the dotted line there and then....
