What is it like starting college not knowing anyone?

I'm starting college this September and I don't know anyone else going there. All of my friends are going off to different colleges :frown:
Is it hard to make friends when you don't know anyone there?
Aww
All my friends went to different college, there was some people from my high school but only 4.
Secondly I dont really know them but I do consider as friend because I would say hi and stuff.

Well during my first 3 weeks, it was pretty lonely.
I dont know anyone
For some reason, everyone knew everyone
Im the one man band xD Ahehhe
I did thought to myself, oh god. Am I going to be a loner for two whole years.
But two whole years is not that good in comparison to high school

So during my first three weeks, I simply kept going to library and this is a good thing as you can study more or catch up with works just incase if A Levels is too much for you all of the sudden.
Apart from library I went to museum, oh god like 3 times a week. I can become a guide for the mueseum xD
I even went to park which was horrible as it was in september, freezing cold.

But now I do have friends and I do stay with them though our free are not the same.
I only see them at break for 15 mins.

Now I know quite a lot of people;

The key is to be confident, just talk to random people. Dont be shy.
Dont feel like youre bothering anyone or youre trying to destroy some friendship group.

When you made one friend, it should slowly link to another because the group you will hang with. Remember to introduce yourself so it allow you to make more friends.

Key: Socialise to everyone and be confident.

Never needed to make friends at college/uni. I feel good.

I know the response I would get if I ever talked to random people: "Go away" or "Now's not the time". Because I would respond the same way as well.
