TSR Bollywood Society

Strange that they're showing such late night films on channel 4, though it's worth staying up for a good film. It would be even greater if we could understand the original language of those films, somethings just don't translate perfectly.

It did stray a little from traditional Bollywood (stuff you can see with family) but I didn't see it with my family so I guess I didn't really think about that! I did like the modern-ness of it all, though and didn't get bored! I can see why its not some people's thing though.

i saw munnabhai mbbs. its ok, funny but not one of my fave films. its a good time pass. in this film i like boman irani's concept of laughter theraphy and of course teh magic hug! lol

munnabhai was rubbish, i just don't get the humour in a lot of hindi movies. films like hera pheri, chup chup ke- what were they thinking? rang de basanti was the best movie in a long time, kabhi alvida had no plot and relied on stars attracting audiences

Haha yes I did visit all the casinos (I've posted about my trip in the TSR Travel Guide) but I didn't gamble, nor did I drink and get married!!!
