Fresher accommodation application deadline date

Hi, I've trawled through ed.ac.uk but can't find the deadline for applications. I heard this is aug 16th - is this correct?

Don't wait until results day, you won't be under the accom guarentee if you do i.e. you won't get anything university owned!

That's right, 16th August is the deadline if you want to be guaranteed university accommodation! (Check the Undergraduate Accommodation Leaflet for 2006 here: http://www.accom.ed.ac.uk/accom_info/accommodation_guide/Undergrad_accomm_leaflet_2006.pdf .)
