Is OU Acceptable?

I'm doing an English degree with the Open University and am hoping to go on to do a PGCE Primary degree. Does anyone know if a degree from the OU will be acceptable? I've emailed a few unis but haven't heard anything back yet.

Yes it is completely acceptable, its any degree from any UK university. The OU even do their own PGCE if you wanted to do that

I did a psychology degree with the OU, completing last December, I'm about to start my PGCE primary with UWE.

So yes definately acceptable, in fact highly regarded due to the effort involved.

How long did it take you to complete your degree? I'm hoping to get mine in three years....is this manageable?
