Market risk analyst/ Risk control/ other type of risk placements and internships
I'm a 2nd year Physics student at Bath in the process of beginning applications for Market Risk internships and placements. There seems to be a lot more applications available for 'Risk control' and other risk factors not dealing directly with the market. e.g. credit. Could anyone shed some light and what are the differences between these different types of risk from the perspective of an intern or placement student? I'd imagine market is the most interesting but also the most competitive?
