A-Level Choices. What am I letting myself in for?

I want to study at A level:
Physics
Maths
Ancient History
Philosophy

My Current (relevant) GCSEs grades:
English: B
Physics: B
Maths B
History: A

In short what should I expect? How do I increase my grades? How did you find the subjects? How did you prepare for the jump between GCSE to A-Levels?
Thanks in advance:smile:
Physics and Maths go well together (particularly if your school does the Mechanics module instead of Statistics for the Maths). They can get quite difficult, but you should be fine if you stay on top of the work.

Sorry I can't help much with Ancient History and Philosophy; I don't do them.
you are in for a treat with maths and physics with a maths GCSE grade B. But with hard work you'll be fine. Without hard work you will be completely screwed . have fun
