Advice finding a private exam centre.

Hi all,
i'm looking into self studying for IGCSE's this year in order to start an access course next september (don't want to waste a year). I would like to do it through edexcel but there's only aqa exam centre's in Liverpool according to their websites, would those registered with aqa not also be with edexcel? Also with the exam's there's two papers, would you sit them on the same day and pay one exam fee or would they be sat separately on different dates with two exam fees.

Any centre registered with AQA is also highly likely to be registered with Edexcel and OCR as well. However, many centres only accept candidates for certain exams so you will need to ring and ask the ecntre about the specific exams you want to sit.

The exams have to be sat at the times specified by the exam board. The amount the centre charges will not be affected by when they happen anyway but be set by the exam board fees (which are per subject) and the centre's admin and invigilation costs.
