Looking for maths tutor

Hi, I'm a first year Durham student looking for an older student to help fill in gaps in my understanding. I'd like to spend some time on particular areas that I am struggling with in Single Maths A and B. Please let me know if you're interested in tutoring me, and how much you charge per session/ hour.

Definitely ask staff in the department for help. You could also try talking to your college tutor.

When I was having difficulty with applied mathematics, I spoke with my college tutor, Dr. Allan Scheult. Dr. Scheult talked to the Master, Dr. Sydney Holgate, first master of Grey College. As well as being college Master, Syd was a mathematician.

Syd gave me an hour's private tuition in applied maths every week during Epiphany term, and I passed my first year exams.
