quitting work experience.

as in, not turning up. i dont really like it or enjoy it, its about 8 hours long, no one really speaks to me and to top it all of, i have to do phone calls to people tomorrow which i'm terrified about. i cant really face it. so i'm thinking of not turning up.

so, is this is a good idea or will it cause trouble? i dont want to let them down, but i feel anxious there all the time, let alone having to make phone calls.
Instead of just not turning up, why don't you talk to them about how you feel? They might give you a different role/job to do

I hated my work experience when I did it - I was working in a shop with like 4 aisles and it was mind numbingly boring for 7 out of the 8 hours of the day. However I kept at it and I think you should too. It is a stepping stone into employment.
