Tricky situation, girls in particular hpw would you react.

So a friend of mine has landed himself into a tricky situation. In past times he considered match making one ex colleague with a mate had no idea of relationship status of the ex colleague. Shoddy and slapdash.
Said mate also had a particularly attractive colleague and when out on razz two yrs back left his fb logged in and a mate wrote 'did you keep the receipt?' on a pic of her and partner. He came clean to me lately.
He is worried not only of falling out with two said ex colleagues but of them kicking him in the sack.
Should he be? I thank you.
