Newcastle Undergraduate Accommodation 2015

Hey
I'm thinking of putting Newcastle as my firm and starting to look at accommodation and wanted to get some other people's recommendations/honest advice with this!
Please could anyone recommend what they think are the top places in terms of:
- being fairly close to campus
- sociable
- nice/quality/pleasantness of accommodation

I've not yet decided whether to go catered or self-catered, but think probably self-catered at the moment.
At the moment I'm looking at Castle Leazes (and Castle Court), Liberty Plaza, Ricky Road, Park Terrace, The View- Downing Plaza and Windsor Terrace.
