Replacement NI number still not here, Induction Saturday
Hi guys,
What do I do? Sent off the form for Replacement NI number 4 weeks ago today and have still not recieved it and have a Induction at Tesco Saturday at which they require proof of my National Insurance of which I have none?
Any one know how long this usually takes?

I have had a similar experience, go to your local job centre plus with an ID and they will issue you a letter with your NIN on the spot.

Apparently they don't do this anymore
You sure they require proof? Some jobs only require the number.

An employer can use/issue a temporary number until your actual one arrives. Just tell the Tesco-ians your situation, I'm sure they will be sympathetic / deal with it all the time
