Do I stand a chance of the Lloyds Scholarship Programme?

I have applied for the Lloyds Scholarship Programme and I was wondering whether they will accept me. I was given a chance to apply as Lloyds Scholars are partners with 8 universities one of which I put as my insurance choice on my UCAS. It says in my application status that my application has been submitted but 'Minimum requirements not met'. Is this because I put the partnership university as my insurance choice (my firm choice is not partners with Lloyds Scholars)? Can they still consider me?

You aren't eligible I'm afraid. You must have the partner uni as your first choice. As you put it as an insurance, you will not be considered.

Bad for me then. I should just hope now that I get into my firm choice but I see that as being unlikely!!
