For most units, 60-80% of assessment is through exams. There are, however, three units (ICT, Academic Skills, Project) that are entirely coursework-based.

Pretty similar to most university courses. The majority are straight out of school, i.e. 18/19, a few are in their 20s and one or two are 30+. That's what it was like in my year, at least.
