Accommodation Allocation Period
So I'm just starting my first year and have recently applied for an accommodation specifically at the 4th of September in campus. It's been a week and I still haven't got a reply from them. How long is the allocation period? I live quite far from Hertfordshire so I'm a bit scared that I may not get an offer. The only reason why I applied a little late was because I was looking for cheaper flats in the outskirts but to no avail.
Also they did say to not send them email about the matter during the allocation period so I don't want to ask them for an update.
