For last year:

GCSEs/Equivalent: 8A*, 2B
AS levels: aaaaa
A2s: AAAA
AEAs:
Happy with offer? Well, I accepted it. Got offered A(M) AB which I was confident of achieving.
Any other tempting offers? Many.

Last year again:

GSCEs: 8A* 2A
AS Levels: aaaaabb
A2 Levels: AAABB
AEAs:
Happy with offer: Well I had my grades already so it was unconditional
Any other tempting offers? Yes but I liked Durham most.

Not sure how much this will help, I know people who are here with lots of different grades. Someone may have told me the standard offer without further maths is going up to AAA??

Also still waiting for a reply.

The Admissions and Examinations Secretary told me that they have already rejected 60% of maths applicants and many of them got all A's.
So I think the waiting to the end of this month is a sign of good news.

i was told at the department open day today that they had a 60% increase in maths applications this year compared to last year, so expect things to get more competitive

i have no idea how many applicants they have in terms of numbers. At all the universities i have visited this year they seem to have had an increase in applicants, for some reason maths has suddenly become much more popular.
