interview and acceptance questions

Hi all!

I am very interested in applying to Cambridge myself in 2 years time....but in the meantime I need someone who can guide me through the application and acceptance process for my English class project. I need to ask a series of questions about what the initial interview was like, and it has to be verified by my teacher with an e-mail or phone number of that person I interview. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!

Just be aware current applicants cannot discuss their Cambridge interview.

Here's some videos of typical interviews:

And you could possibly try asking for help in the subject specific thread:

This. You're not going to find a successful applicant who will tell you any specifics about their interview, it's not worth the trouble.
I may be being a bit dumb here, but I don't quite understand a nature or purpose of the 'English class project' that's need to be verified with real email address/phone number.
I it a sort of EPQ in English for which OP just happened to choose a theme around 'Cambridge admission interview'?

Oh, and another thing... no single part of a Cambridge application is more important than any other. All applications are considered holistically. Specifically, the interview is not necessarily a deal-breaker. People can have poor interviews but still get an offer. And vice-versa.

Also candidates can have a very different opinion of their interview than the interviewers. It's very common for a candidate to think they had a poor interview, but still get an offer.

Here's a chart I did for this year's applicants where they ranked their interview from 1 to 10, and then later told me if they got an offer. You can see there's no correlation between the candidates opinion and the final outcome!

This in nonsense. There are plenty of them who would be happy to help others.

When a Cambridge college interviews you, you are expressly told not to tell anyone specifics about your interview, as it would skew the selection process.

You're the one who's full of nonsense.

"before the admissions round is complete"

So people in previous years could give info if they wanted.

True. And the comment chain started with Jneil saying that current applicants can't mention theirs.
Perhaps alcibiade misunderstood who them was but I was just confirming that current applicants are forbidden from discussing it using a screenshot of part of the letter I got.
