Worst Excuses you have heard from Family/Friends/Partners about anything?

What are the worst excuses a freind , family member or partner has made on anything?

I was in a relationship with someone in Year 13. I was a disaster and a mistake and it didn't take her long to realise it. About a month before results, she said that she had a 'routine' of cutting herself off from the internet, phone etc so I bought that and didn't bother messaging her in any way. After results she admitted that it was a lie and broke up with me. :rofl:
