AQA art GCSE Final Piece help

After half term, we are starting our final pieces for art (exam board AQA) and it is a 10 hour exam. I was wondering if 10 hours is a really small amount of time to paint on an A3 canvas in as I have never timed myself painting before. Also can you listen to music/ talk etc and what size does the canvas you are working on have to be minimum. Also what do you get graded on mainly and what happens if you don't finish? - thanks

The final piece has to be done in silence and at my school you can't listen to music. For my final piece I am planning to do it A2 size
