Random £120 payment from student loans co?

I'm a year 13 student and I signed up for student finance the other week but my mother is yet to complete the household income form. Anyway, so on the 23rd (today) i received a random payment of £120 from student loans CO, type:automated credit and i don't know why iv'e had this. If i spend this do i need to pay it back since it's from a loan?

That sounds a little odd and very early. If in doubt, call their office and ask what is happening because, since it is a loan you will have to pay it back so if you don't need it, don't spend it.
