Medicine UCAS application resits help!

Hey, ive just done my As levels, Biology, physics,chemistry and maths. And i can already say chemistry didnt go very well at all. Ive been wanting to study medicine and i know a minimum of AAA is required in bio and chem, i wont be getting the A for chemistry and i wanted to know how do resists work? The closest resit would be in October/november (CIE) but medical applications through UCAS go out in early october. What would the application say? Result pending? Is it still possible for me to apply to medicine with a resit? Someone Please help as im clueless and my school doesnt seem to have any information on this!
