Deferred entry?

If I just miss out on my university grades, is there any chance that I could resit some a-levels in January and then join the course then? this considering i'm applying to Manchester Met, not a well-established university, ex-poly.

You would have missed at least 30% of the course. Possibly the best 3 months of your life. You woudn't be allowed, nor should you want to.

Based on the assumption that you are an A2 student then, if you dont achieve the grades then you will have to wait till next september before you can join and you have to reaply again..... but dont forget you can ring the uni up and they still may let you in even if you dont achieve the grades and you can also go through clearence in the worst case scenario.

30% of the a 4 year course in 6 months? thats one-eighth i'm sure

if that happenstake a year out, so you can go to freshers week and get mullered out of your mind. Also be able to earn some money in the year you're out anyway.
