Unfortunately there doesn't appear to be any set timescale for formal offers following completion of checks. Could be months going by the chat on here.

Oh wow!! im chuffed you got offered Bradford as i currently work for DWP in Bradford and this would be ideal for me. this excersize didnt have Bradford as an option but if they offered it to you, maybe it could be an option for me?
On getting your crb certificate, how long did you wait for your formal offer?

I've not had a CRB certificate for this one actually, maybe because I had one for one of the other recruitment campaigns in the last few weeks, and maybe CSR know it isn't necessary?

I've heard they're taking on more once the Shipley office reopens, with some PT Ops staff moving over to the interchange building.

Is anyone starting on the 28th of November in Lisburn? if anyone is have you heard anything since the original email with the start date?

Me too. Just want to know a start date whether it be 8 days or 8 weeks. If you have a job offer and your checks have been completed they should be able to tell you that because if you have been offered a position then it shouldn't seem like you are waiting for a position to pop up which is how it seems atm

I've my employment checks passed and waiting on a start date. I'm assuming it too will be given for Lisburn when it does eventually....... come although God knows when that will be probably not this side of Christmas now.
I wouldn't imagine they will get in touch with you again until you start. They probably have no need to. Be sure though to let us know how your first day goes and all that. Are you O or HO?

Hi guys, first time posting. Anyone still waiting on completion of employment checks for Belfast? I had to complete a DBS application but now wondering if manpower made a mistake and should have asked me to do the AcessNI one. Sent them my DBS certificate on the 15th of November and haven't heard anything.

I thought the same but it is DBS for CSR/1320. You may have to complete a short health questionnaire in the near future. Either way CSR should be in touch if you have sent off your DBS certificate and everything was clear . It might not hurt to chase it up via email or a call (the number is posted earlier in this thread).

Would be interested to know if they are still appointing in merit order as it seems there are very few on this thread who have got start dates for Belfast.

I'm for Belfast mate and my DBS was completed about a month ago and health questionnaire a few days later. Only thing holding mine up is my character reference form. Manpower referred it to hmrc as I was self employed and hmrc haven't got back to them with anything. I've tried a few emails and got nothing.

Let me know if you get anywhere with chasing up.

Some updates from my situation.

So I didn't apply for bradford, but was offered a HO Tech post in Bradford which works out for me given that I live in Saltaire (Leeds/Bradford would have been fine).

I never received a DBS for this application, but one was completed for the Band O Tax Specialist Programme I was originally due to take before receiving this offer, so I assume CSR used this.

My CSR portal still just shows as 'pre employment checks passed'.

I'm starting next monday 12th, and met my manager today in the office, had a tour and meet & greet with everyone for a good 2 hours, and he's confirmed CSR have sent through my employment details.

I had my interview in July, starting in December. Not the worst turn around.

I have the same hold up too. self employment years ago which has ceased and accounts settled is holding me back. hmrc have had my info ages now. manpower can't close my file until this check is complete. once closed, they inform hmrc and wait for a start date. manpower spoke to me lastweek as I'm totally fed up!
I'd have liked to have known my start date before Xmas. something to look forward to. I have no idea what they are checking with the self employment team?! how long can it take?!!!!! grrr
