Changing course after first year advice?

Hello so i did computer science here for my first year but i made the choice to change course in june, i want to marketing and qmul and have exceeded the ucas point requirement. It says i need 320 and a D*DD in my btec which i did in IT however i have D*D*D. The course i want to do have places but my first year was really bad and i dont have the B in english needed for GCSE i have a C. Will this damage my chances and has anyone had experience changing course at QMUL?

The only way to find out is to email and ask. I suspect that if you meet the entry requirements then you should be fine. Your first year may be looked at though because it shows whether or not you can cope with uni level work.
