Resit /Retake ...winter is coming!

Recently got my alevel results which came out sadly as BCU. I fully expected the C in english lit, as I had vomited 10 minutes before the exam, my government and politics (B) i was depressed as I had worked so hard but i did have a 3-way clash that day so it's a decent grade for now. Biology (U) did me dirty, as this is what I had worked the hardest for. I managed to get two uni offers UEA &Hertfordshire to study law, which is what I now want to do without the stress of parents. Should I take a gap year and take on Sociology alevel in the year (i'd be in school 4/5 days) or should I accept the offers and hope for a better job once i'm out?
